The Human Cost of the Second Amendment: Another RNs Point of View

nurse lampThe Human Cost of the Second Amendment – NYTimes.com.

This post by a RN was written in the summer of 2012. She writes that by the time people read it other similar shootings may well have happened. On Dec. 14, 2012 one of the worst tragedies of its kind happened again, at an elementary school in Newtown, CT, where 20 children were fatally shot by a 20-year old young man. By the time you read this post, it’s very likely that another massacre will have occurred in the US. According to her story, 80 Americans die from gun shot wounds and another 120 more are wounded — every day.

Nurses see death all the time and have a different perspective, especially on needless, violent deaths. I encourage you to read her story.
